Né Jacques Owczarek en 1961, de nationalité française, Jacques OW vit et travaille à Paris.

Autodidacte, il découvre la sculpture à 30 ans et fait 3 rencontres décisives : Lucien BOURDON (1909-2003), galeriste et collectionneur de renom, Didier LANDOWSKI Maître fondeur, avec qui il entame une étroite collaboration jusqu’en 2013 et Pierre M. DUMONTEIL marchand parisien réputé avec qui il signe en 1999 cinq années d’exclusivités qui dureront jusqu’en 2014
